Setting: Bender, Leela, and Fry are sitting on the bridge of the ship when
they suddenly stop dead.
Bender: “What the…?”
Fry: “Leela, what happened?”
Leela: “Nothing on the damage computer.”
Bender: “Fry go out and push.”
Fry: “No way, not again last time this giant space squid attacked me.”
Leela: “I’m sure it’s nothing.” “I’ll call for help.”
She turns on the radio transmitter.
Leela: “This is Planet Express Delivery calling for Quadruple A.” “Our
Spaceship has stop and we are calling for assistance.”
Radio: “This is Quadruple A give me you coordinates and your credit card
number.”
Leela: “We are at…” “Hey the radio died.”
Then in a flicker of light the main power goes off and the ship is immersed
in darkness.
Fry: “Leela were are you?”
Bender: “Wait a minute I’ll turn on my eyes so we can see.”
Bender eyes light up causing the place to light up slightly.
Fry: “Ahhh, my eyes.”
Bender: “He he, sorry.”
Fry: “Uh, Bender where’s Leela?”
Bender: “She was in the chair right over there.”
Fry: “There’s her wrist communicator.”
In the distant part of the ship they hear metal bending and chains rattling.
Fry: “Hold me.”
Bender: “What do you think I am a robosexual.”
Fry: “We have to find Leela.”
Bender: “Or we could use the escape pod.”
Fry: “I’m okay with that.”
Bender: “The escape pod is on the bottom deck.”
Fry: “But that’s where the noise is.”
Bender: “What else do you plan on doing?”
Fry: “Okay, you first.”
They walk slowly down the corridor and continue to hear the strange noises
emanating from the bottom deck.
Fry: “I’ scared Bender.”
Bender: “Pansy.”
Fry: “We may never see Leela again.”
Bender: “More wine for me.” (Pulls out wine)
Leela’s distant voice: “No, No, NOOOOOOO!”
Bender: “What was that?”
Fry: “It was Leela.” “We have to save her.”
Bender: “Why?”
Fry: “Just because, I don’t know we just have to.”
They rush downstairs to be horrified at the site they see. Nibbler had
sneaked into the ship and had grown 13 feet tall with a giant gapping jaw
with sharp drooling teeth.
Bender: “I told you we should have cooked him.”
Fry: “Leela are you okay?”
Leela: “Do I look okay, my pet is trying to eat me for heaven’s sake.”
Bender: “I’ll create a diversion you get the grill ready.”
Bender jumps on top of Nibbler but is thrown away and his body is broken
into eight pieces.”
Bender's head: “Now I did it.”
Leela: “Give him his chew toy Fry.”
Fry: “Here Nibbler come and get your rubber flamingo.”
Fry throws it into the cargo hold and locks the door behind Nibbler.
Leela: “Good thinking Fry now get me out of these chains.”
Fry: “I’m sorry Leela.”
Leela: “For what?”
Fry: “I was going to leave you and take a escape pod and leave you alone
with whatever was down here.”
Leela: “Uh, Fry I…”
Fry: “No Leela I can’t be forgiven.”
Leela: “It’s not that.”
Fry: “Than what is it?”
Leela: “Nibbler is right behind you!”
Fry: “AHHHHHHH!”
Suddenly Fry wakes up in bed.
Fry: “It was only a dream, it was only a dream.”
Nibbler comes in and smiles with his giant sharp teeth.
